Act! V18.1 Is Here!

WhatsNewAct

Many of our customers have already moved to v18.  Several others have been waiting for the first service pack to the v18 release.  The wait is over!  Act! v18.1 is here, and we are ready to say. . . go for it!  (We always assure our customers we’ll be the early adopters, beat the system up for a bit and then give the thumbs up or veer off.)

Here are some reasons to plan your move to v18.1:

  • Compatibility – this is big for a lot of our users.  Not only do you have compatibility with Windows 10 & Office 2016, but with the v18.1 release newer versions of Chrome and IE are supported.
  • Act! Connect – Act! Connect puts integration with hundreds of popular business apps a few clicks away.  You can now set up connections between Act! and Outlook®, Slack, PayPal®, Wufoo™, QuickBooks Online, and other apps you may be using.  Extend your Act! data and trigger actions that save time and accelerate your sales and marketing efforts.
  • Web API –  An API is simply a way to take web applications  – like your web Contact form, Eventbrite, Survey Monkey, and more – and have them talk to other web applications.  With Act! Premium for Web v18.1 & the updated web API the integration possibilities are virtually endless.
  • Activity Create Date – Now you can see when an activity was originally created, as opposed to the current date, to which it may have been continuously rescheduled.  This is a fantastic feature for managers who want visibility into their teams productivity.
  • Favorite Contacts – with a simple check-box on the default layout, you can now easily track your key contacts.

Act! 18.1 also addresses many product defects.  (Read more geekery about that here.)  Sound enticing?  Give us a shout to discuss the best route to upgrading for your and your business – 410-472-5058 or mscott@3leafcrm.com.  Can’t wait that long and need it now? Click here to order your Act! v18.1 licenses.  Operators are standing by. . . well not really, but you can order your licenses there.

I've been in the CRM business since 1999. Prior to that, I was in marketing - focused on brand marketing. Whether you use one of the "big name" CRM products or a shoebox, I firmly believe that CRM is a process more than a software.
